The Traits of a Super Trader Are:
1. Acceptance Of Losses And Losing 2. Confidence 3. Desire - A Driving Desire To Become Successful 4. Devotion - A Substantial Amount Of Their Waking Hours Is Given To Market Analysis And Trading Strategy 5. Discipline 6. Independence 7. Love And Passion For Trading 8. Methodology - To Which They Remained True 9. Patience 10. Resilience - In Overcoming Significant Obstacles To Reach Their Goal 11. Rigid Risk Control These are the traits that are said to make a person a Super Trader! They are not in any particular order of importance but I did collate them into alphabetical order. It now seems the order they are in makes good sense. As you look at these traits of a Super Trader, you too could observe yourself against the list and thus work on removing your trading weaknesses (should you have any) in order to turn them into trading strengths. Does that sound good to you? Since writing out this list and trading myself, I can see that without Super Trader Trait #1, my trading account would not last very long due to the previous bad habit of holding onto losses for too long, in the hopes it will some-day and one-day turn around.
